Jr Beta Club
Your mom and I were proud of you this week because you received an invitation to the Jr Beta Club. I’m pretty sure you accepted the invite since I heard Mom promising to check with Mrs Simbeck to make sure you turned in the form! For some reason you weren’t all that thrilled with the new status.
Update: the induction ceremony was held in the SLS cafeteria at 4pm on Sunday, May 3rd. Here’s a photo of the group.
Most Improved!
We were very proud if you for receiving the most improved student award from ms. Karen’s math class. Keep up the good work!
Veterans Day Program 2013
Well, we’re well into your fifth grade year. I’m very pleased that you joined the chorus. Today you performed with the group for the Veterans Day program. A very good job too!
Paw and Uncle Denny were there representing the Veterans in our family. I could tell you were proud of them and that they came to see you sing.

Mom checked Teacher Ease today to get a sneak peak at your report card grades. We were hoping for honor roll, but the news was even better! Straight A’s!
