Veterans Day Program 2013

Well, we’re well into your fifth grade year. I’m very pleased that you joined the chorus. Today you performed with the group for the Veterans Day program. A very good job too!

Paw and Uncle Denny were there representing the Veterans in our family. I could tell you were proud of them and that they came to see you sing.

Bullseye!

Here’s a photo of your first bullseye shot with your bow and arrows you got as an Easter gift. The best part was you had witnesses. Carlie is at our house today for horseback riding and a sleepover. And Archery. I was at work of course, but you called all excited and told me about this good shot. I was very proud!

Restraining Order

Mom sent me the attached image this morning. She asked you to bring down your clothes this morning, but you didn’t. So she made you go back up and get them.

This was a terrible thing to ask apparently and you went into Drama Queen mode. I guess you thought you needed some additional help against these abuses, so you drew up a restraining order. I was “LOL-ing” big time!

Social Studies Project

We could have worked on this last weekend, but you didn’t tell us until Monday. With all the stuff going on this week we had very little time to work on it. Mom wanted to take advantage of Mr. Eric’s offer to extend today’s deadline until Monday, but of course you insisted on turning it in today. I think it will be fine, but we could do better.

UPDATE: The first day back from Christmas break you got the grade for this project and it was a 100! We did good! 🙂

Cells

Remember this? Mr Snider placed 20% of the grade on writing neatly. yours and Mom’s idea of neat writing differed somewhat to say the least. This project took an entire weekend of blood, sweat and tears! I thought it turned out well in the end though.
