Our church had a freedom festival for an early 4th of July celebration. My friend Carlie Walters and I passed out sparklers and saved a few for ourselves as you can see. We had fun taking pictures, lighting sparklers, and watching the pretty lights. 🙂
I joined the archery team for my school this past school year as a freshman. Although, I’ve had a bow and arrow since I think about age 7 or 8. Recently I was able to perfect the form I need to use for a bullseye and for nice precision. I think I’m doing well 😉 .

You and Mom have been getting ready for the 2016 SLS Winter Formal dance for a couple of weeks now. This is your first school dance. Â I got this photo from Mom tonight while I was at my Gideon meeting. Â You were trying on the new dress that Mom bought and had altered for you. You sure do look all grown up!
I took a few photos of you, Paw, Guy and John Paul Riding horses today. These were the best ones.

Your mom and I were proud of you this week because you received an invitation to the Jr Beta Club. I’m pretty sure you accepted the invite since I heard Mom promising to check with Mrs Simbeck to make sure you turned in the form! For some reason you weren’t all that thrilled with the new status.

Savannah took part in Lawrence County Sings with the SLS Chorus. Proud parents all around for the great job. We appreciate all your hard work!
